Cloud Monitoring Console and Web Interface

Status and Report Viewers

Tap In offers multiple ways to view systems management and monitoring data:

  • QuickView console: for viewing real-time events as they occur
  • Web viewer: for viewing historical data and generating reports
  • Control Plan Editor: for viewing modeled process states

QuickView console

The QuickView console is a high performance Java client application that displays open events in the Tap In Management Server. Multiple QuickView Consoles can connect to the Tap In Management Server. As events are received or updated, QuickView consoles display the updated information. Users can filter and sort events in the console, and then clear them if desired. Events sent to each QuickView console can be restricted by operator ID.

Web viewer

The Tap In Web viewer displays logged event data and provides reports and graphics to show events filtered by user-defined criteria. Performance charts show trends in utilization, metric values, and other event statistics.

Control Plan Editor

Tap In’s Control Plan Editor allows an operator to create a process model using Petri Net modeling techniques. The model is tied to monitoring events and operator-defined tasks. Operators can view the current status of the process model with this tool.
